The day this painting was birthed the weather was over-cast, a slight chill in the air, winds were gusty … made me think this was Mother Nature’s last demonstration of ‘winter’ before Spring. The dark earth tones are warm and inviting . The muted splashes of color offer the promise that Spring will really spring! And, sure enough, it did!
