11” x 14” prints mounted on white foam board are ready for framing. This is a Giclee Print, a new form of fine art reproduction. In the past it has also been referred to as an Iris Print due to the fact that the brand name of one of the first high end digital printers was named Iris. Giclee is a French term that means “to squirt” and that is what the archival lab tested inks do when they coat the paper with pigment. This process, different from the traditional offset lithographic prints artists have traditionally used to reproduce their work, gives a much “truer print” of the original painting. The image is digitally captured and proofed then printed on a high end large format ink jet printer. The UV inks have been lab tested to withstand normal home lighting conditions for anywhere from 35 to 200 years before showing any sign of fading. The print is reproduced on acid free water color art paper.

5” x 7” notecards, with matching envelope, are printed on heavy white textured paper. They are available individually and sets of 12.
